Much over nothing, and nothing over much.

Too much has been made over the “incident”  captured in this video

…considering this statement from Buckingham Palace.

But perhaps not enough has been made over this

It is clear that Barack Obama wishes to change the dialogue between the United States and other countries around the world.  I think it is also clear that there is a level of resentment for the United States that is harbored by other nations, and some repair of that might well be in order.

However, this somewhat exagerated bow-from-the-waist to the King of Saudi Arabia, is perhaps a bit much.  Short of falling at his feet, I suspect the King’s Saudi subjects, don’t bend any lower.

Respect for another head-of-state is one thing, but this is not only unseemly for the President of The United States, but considering the “bow-er”, it is also the height of hypocrisy, considering the scorching of G.W. Bush by Obama and the Democrats for his supposedly too-close relationship with the Saudi royal family.

And, oh by the way, where has the mainstream media been on this one?  Bowing to the one who bows perhaps.

Take the poll below and let’s see what you think was behind this embarrassment of the Office of President of the United States of America.
