It is in such bad taste, you might think it’s a joke. But it’s not.

Planned Parenthood, the organization with the kindly sounding name, markets itself as a resource for “women’s reproductive health services.”  I suppose that on the surface, that sounds helpful enough.  And if they limited their services to prenatal health education and care, along with other constructive activities, it might almost be an upstanding organization.  And while there are those who disagree on the moral use of contraceptive birth control, it might even be the case that if Planned Parenthood ONLY went so far as to be a source for these products, they might be regarded (granted, not by all) as being a helpful force in society.

But, they do not limit their services to these.  Instead, Planned Parenthood’s stock in trade really is abortion.  Not only do they perform hundreds of thousands of abortions within the walls of their clinics, but they are also the principal voice in the pro-murder-of-the-unborn political lobby.  They have a huge voice in Washington and in state capitals around our republic, and the soon to be 44th President of the United States of America is beholden to them in ways that are obvious, and I suspect in some that are not so apparent.

If the murder of the unborn were not bad enough, Planned Parenthood is now offering a new means by which their lethal services might be presented as a “gift.”  You can read more about it at Dr. Mohler’s blog or at the Washington Times.

The irony of the timing of this news is not lost on me.  As we prepare to celebrate the birth of a child who was conceived in the womb of a young and unmarried girl, the timing of which was clearly not convenient insofar as her life-stage, Planned Parenthood now makes the world’s most tasteless gift available with the convenience of a gift certificate just like Best Buy, Macy’s or

  1. Give the gift that kills the living.

There will be plenty of blood guilt to go around on this one.

  2. Chuck says:

Great slogan Stan. While it would never be put out there for public consumption, I can almost imaging that in some brainstorming session within Planned Parenthood, that, or something like it might have apeared on a PowerPoint slide.
