Most everyone I know has either cable or satellite television service. In early 2009, the folks who still use an antenna for television reception will need to either buy a new digital television, convert to cable or satellite, or install a converter box to allow them to receive digital broadcast signals on their old analog TV receivers. I have no idea how many people this may affect, and don’t care a thing about researching it.
Irrespective, THIS is what awaits many elderly analog TV owners when this forced conversion is finally implemented in February next year.
